CONTENT: We reserve the right to refuse anything we determine to be inappropriate submission. We also reserve the right to refuse any work or vehicle for any reason.

COLOR PROOFING: The customer is responsible for the colors and graphics they are providing. Digital print colors may not match perfectly. Whereas we attempt to closely match your design color, not all PMS colors can be exactly matched or duplicated by digital printing and we do not give any guarantees to precise color matches. If you have specific color(s) you wish to be printed and tested prior to your job being produced please let us know and we will provide you with samples for your approval prior to printing the full job.

INSTALLATIONS: VINYL WRAP IS NOT PAINT! We make every effort to make the vinyl look as seamless as possible, however, there may be curves, bumps, rivets moldings and deep-channeled curves that the vinyl will not be able to conform to. There will be areas, such as door handles, mirrors, gas caps, doorframes, wheel wells, around edges and hard corners where original paint color may be visible. In some cases relief cuts need to be made or patches need to be installed to conceal vehicle colors. Stretching film will result in some shrinkage as it attempts to return to its original form/dimensions. As it shrinks, some minor tenting and lifting does occur and will be addressed in the 30-60 day check-up if necessary. There will also be seams where the panels meet or where the vinyl is not large enough to cover certain areas. Route 66 Tint & Wrap is not responsible for vinyl wrap limitations and does not accept any liability as such.
When dealing with graphics we make ever effort to match up graphics on difference panels exactly, however, when using printed vinyl we cannot guarantee that the graphics will match up exactly due to complex curves and angles of the vehicle. A 5% margin is considered acceptable when dealing with printed graphic designs. All wraps need to be applied to “like new” vehicle finish for the best results. There must be an excellent bond of the paint and its finish to the vehicle substrate. Any rust, bubbling, scratches, dents or other damage will be visible through the film, and such surface imperfections may damage the film or cause the film to fail prematurely. Areas repaired with body filer must be sanded, epoxy primed and finished with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacture) paint or clear coat. Any recently applied finish must be fully cured for a minimum of 30 days prior to film being applied. Route 66 Tint & Wrap expressly disclaims all warranties on buses, planes, trains, Rv’s, custom vehicles, motorcycles, and vehicles with OEM paint that is more than 6 years old.
Graphics on vehicles are intended to be viewed from a distance of at least twenty (20) feet and Route 66 Tint & Wrap produces and prints each graphics with the quality and detail appropriate for viewing from such distance. Intended viewing distance is ten (10) feet for color change vinyl, decals, stickers, etc. Route 66 Tint & Wrap does not warranty anything on rush same day printing and lamination where the instillation schedule prohibits proper print curing and lamination time.
Installation time is based upon many factors including but not limited to, film selected, curing time, places where vinyl is being installed, size of vehicle, complexity of installation areas and any unforeseen circumstances that may arise. We will make every effort to give reasonable time frames for instillation but reserve the right to change them at any time for any reason.
Vehicle wrap material does not stick or adhere well to plastic, primer, silicone or rubber surfaces and customers are not advised to wrap such areas. If the customer requests that these areas be wrapped we are not responsible for the material not sticking or adhering to those surfaces and the manufacture will not warranty such items being wrapped.
In most cases of vinyl lifting, it is a material issue and it typically occurs in the first few weeks after instillation. We do require a 30-60 day check-up to see the vehicle first hand and to be able to address any issues at that time to prevent the continued peeling and to trim the pieces before they become contaminated. If you do not return within the 30-60 day required time frame to address any issues we are not responsible for the condition of the vehicle wrap. Extreme temperatures can also affect the vinyl such as extreme heat and cold as well as humidity and dust. We recommend you garage your vehicle as much as possible to prevent from these types of issues and to extend the life of your wrap material.

REMOVALS: All removals for vehicle wraps are quoted separately and are based on a per hour basis. Vinyl removal can be very time consuming and costly and is billed as such. Route 66 Tint & Wrap is not responsible for the condition of the paint underneath the vinyl wrap or for any damage that occurs when such material is removed from the vehicle. Please note, our experience shows that removal of vinyl decals or vehicle wraps, from good quality original OEM paint will typically not damage the paint. However, it is the duty and responsibility of the owner or authorized representative of the vehicle to ensure the suitability of the surface before installing such materials and when they are removed. Due to the fact that not all preinstalled vinyl’s are designed to be removed, and in many cases pre-existing vinyl’s are non-removable, we are not responsible for any damage that occurs to the vehicle at the owners request.

WARRANTY AND MATERIALS: All materials are ordered and installed at the customer’s request and are custom ordered or printed for the customer’s specific job. We are not the manufacture of the product and all warranties are offered through the manufacture of the product the customer specifically ordered. For warranty information you must visit the manufacture website for specific information regarding the product(s) you ordered. Route 66 Tint & Wrap is the installer of the product, not he manufacture. However, if there is something wrong with the product our manufactures do stand behind their products as do we, so please do not hesitate to contact us. Damage done to the film by the customer or any third party is not a warranty issue and will not be covered as such. Route 66 Tint & Wrap is not liable for services that are contracted out to other facilities for work to be performed. If an issue arises the customer must contact that specific company directly for any warranty issues or concerns regarding that companies product or services.
